I was to have my friend and fellow photographer, Ginger Unzueta, suggest that we do a swap and snap each other’s family photos for our Christmas cards.  I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to share them here on the blog, but since Ginger and I have also decided to get together each month for more mommy + me photo dates, I thought I’d kick off our first month with our first official (and totally awesome, if I do say so myself!) Wharem family photo, along with a few more of my favorites that I will treasure forever.  Thank you so much for this awesome gift, Ginger!

We have all always been close, spending weekends and holidays going from one house to the other, hanging by the pool, playing cards or board games, and just making fun of each other and laughing around the kitchen table.  So this year when my cousin Laura was home for the holidays (she lives in L.A. now and works for a big-wig movie production company!),  I grabbed at the chance to play with my camera now that I had a model who was up for some fun. And when I say fun I mean re-purposing an old bridesmaids dress (from my wedding, no less) and hanging out in a bathtub.  Thanks, La!  Love you!!

It was so great to see you all and finally meet the newest generation of Estes girls!
