The Rigel/McCann Family

My old friend, Christa, has been trying to schedule a family shoot for months, and last weekend we finally got everyone together to capture some special moments with her beautiful grandmothers. We beat the heat by staying under some shady oaks, and the backdrop wasn’t too shabby either!

September

I’ve known sweet little September since her birth and have been on pins and needles waiting to finally chase her around with my camera. Needless to say, she did not disappoint, even saying my name for the first time while playing in the frog fountain! From her sparkling blue eyes to her adorable pigtails.. prepare for your heart to melt!

Those are adorable! One of these days I’m going to let you chase Gracie around :)

Emily & Megan

I had the pleasure of hanging out with one of my old high school friends and photographing her beautiful little family. Emily and Megan are some of the sweetest little girls, which isn’t surprising since their parents are so laid back and fun!  I loved how independent they both were and how excited they were to see the swans and fish at Bok Tower… I am still giggling over Megan’s squeals!

Lexi – awesome job as usual!! You have such a talent!
Melanie – I love all the pictures. I really like your family pic…I think it is one of my favorites!!

Mel, those are some beautiful pictures of you babies. All though you still look young to me. Your family is growing and I know that you are proud of them. You take care and my God bless you and your family. Love Uncle Jim.

David & Katie

I am so excited to share David and Katie’s engagement shoot with you!  I grew up in the same neighborhood as Katie, and I even babysat her a few times, and I can honestly say that she is just as sweet today as she was back then, if not more so!  These two are such a wonderful couple, and now that they have graduated from college they are getting so excited for their big day in July.. and yours truly will be capturing it all!

Katie and David look so in love! You’ve captured the meaning of “young and in love.” Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Ha, I finally figured out how to respond to your blog. =)

Lexi, I know I have told you a million times, but I LOVED working with you. It was soo easy and completely comfortable (obviously by David’s trumpet sounds) for the two of us. I am really thankful that you are going to do our wedding photos too. Thank you for taking the ‘real’ us and letting us be ourselves. You ROCK and The Lord has truly blessed you with an incredible gift. I could NEVER take photos like yours.

Thanks again,

Katie.. (and DAvid)

Paul, Lydia, Curt, and Riley

Whewww! What a challenge and awesome experience it was to photograph all these little ones! Big brother Paul (3), sweet sister Lydia (2), and adorable twin boys, Curt and Riley, were kind enough to invite me over to their backyard Friday morning, and we spent some time enjoying the warm sun and cool grass. This was the first time I’ve attempted so many wee ones at once, and I’m not sure we quite conquered it yet, but it sure is fun to try!

I love Lydia’s serious looks. The kids are beautiful. Great job Lexi, like always.

Riley’s eyes are amazing…especially that they found him a few days after Mama Betty left us and she had those blue, blue eyes.
